Business Description

Empty Bowls is a grass roots volunteer project that feeds people in our town. Artists + Restaurants + Community! What a wonderful thing!

We gather bowls from Artists, Students and community members that they have made and pair those with wonderful foods made by local restaurants... ALL of the proceeds, every year, go to feed people who truly have empty bowls.

This is a volunteer effort- everything has been donated: Time, Artwork. Food, labor... The organizing force is Michael Terra of Terra Cottage Ceramics.
The Actual Event is on Feb 25th, 2012, from 11am- 5pm at the Julian CarrolCovention Center in Paducah, KY. Tickets are $15 each and entitle you to a handmade ceramic bowl and the wonderful food donated by the area restaurants.
